OAMC Recipes
I miss garden fresh food. My garden did not create enough food this year that I could can or freeze any of it. Not that I know how to can but I would have liked to have had the option.
I did get a bunch of farmers market food which helped get through the low abundance of my first garden. My mom also brought over a ton of farmers market veggies about a month ago. I ate most of it but there were so many peppers that I couldn’t keep up with it. I froze the peppers instead of letting them go to waste and will have farmers market peppers to throw into dishes that will hopefully last me through most of the winter!
What do you do with the extra food from your garden? Do you give it away? Can it? Freeze it? Eat it all before it goes bad?
