To the Broadway Diner in Columbia, MO and the woman who stood behind us
To the woman who stood with her friend behind our booth at the Broadway Diner in Columbia, MO on Saturday morning:
It is rude to press your body up against our booth. It is ruder still to lean over our heads and point down at the food we are trying to eat. While I understand that the restaurant was packed and you had little room in which to move this did not mean that you need to throw consideraton completely out the window. Leaning against our booth, while uncomfortable for those of us who could not sit back in our seats and had to listen to you go on and on about monkey bread, was something we could get over. What we could not get over was the extra large purse that you had to sit on the back of our booth. The extra large purse that promptly fell into our booth. And no, patting our shoulders then placing the bag again on the back of the booth, did not make us feel better. You were obviously old enough to know better but you were oblivious to the discomfort you caused us.
To the owner of the Broadway Diner in Columbia, MO:
First, clean your restaurant. A mop would do wonders. A few servers with a smile would be nice. None of this though, none of this, compares to you (you, the owner!) clearing our table while we were still eating.
For an experience like no other check out the Broadway Diner in Columbia, MO. But if you have a bad time, I told you so!
