The in-laws are in town so tacos again!
My in-laws are here for the weekend to help us clean up the land for moving houses. Since we had a ton of leftover taco meat we had tacos again. I swear I could have tacos every single night. Well, at least until I got sick of tacos every night.
We used the kind of corn tortillas that you fry in a pan. I haven’t had these since I lived at home with my parents and I’m not sure the hubby had ever had them. Can you say greasy goodness? And I mean greasy goodness! I called my mom to make sure I was going to cook them correctly and her first comment was “you know their unhealthy.” Yes, very unhealthy. But cheap. We will get three meals (and one of those meals had four people instead of two) out of one $1 package as opposed to paying $1 for three of the hard taco shell packages. And we only had $22 to grocery shop with this week so cheap shells it was!
