Dairy Free Chocolate Syrup
The day I realized that dairy free chocolate syrup existed in the world was a day filled with chocolate milk, syrup covered ice cream, and basically dunking every fruit in my fridge into it. While I usually buy Hershey’s chocolate syrup, I think it is the best tasting dairy free chocolate syrup, it is more expensive than the generic. Since we are saving for our new house and to build the new bridge we are pretty much broke so even my dairy free chocolate syrup got a reduction!
I bought this Kroger brand dairy free chocolate syrup the other day and have used it the many ways I normally use dairy free chocolate syrup. It has went on my dairy free chocolate ice cream (with the fresh strawberries mixed in) and in my dairy free soy milk. This is the first time I have used the kroger brand of dairy free chocolate syrup and, while it tastes good it isn’t Hershey’s. I think part of it is its sweeter which isn’t always a good thing. I have found that I enjoy it more on my dairy free ice cream than in my soy milk. But hey, if you gotta have your dairy free chocolate syrup you gotta have it!
