Dairy Free Pizza and 30 Days From Now

So, I didn’t make it 30 days, I didn’t even make it 3 days.  The hubby is still home for vacation and all he could talk about yesterday was having pizza so I gave in.  It will be easier when he goes back to work and can get his fast food fix at lunch!  While dairy free pizza may seem like an oxymoron it is still a great treat for those of us who are dairy free!

We ordered dairy free pizza last night from Pizza Hut.  Or, I ordered dairy free pizza and the hubby ordered his slathered in the almighty cheese! I tend to order the Supreme or Deluxe type pizza when I order my dairy free pizza because I have found that the more toppings on each slice makes me not notice the lack of cheese.  I am also pretty picky about the pizza sauce on my dairy free pizza since I tend to taste it more than many people who cover the taste of the sauce with cheese.

It is important to check the ingredients on all of the pizza’s you eat, even the crust.  I order the hand tossed crust on my dairy free pizza from Pizza Hut and it is made on machines that may have had dairy products on them though it does not have milk in it.  The pan crust does have milk in it though so you would be better off with the thin crust or hand tossed for your dairy free pizza.

Also, for those of you who get your dairy free pizza from Pizza Hut, their diced chicken and pastas all contain dairy as well as their breadsticks and cinnamon sticks.

Pizza is too good to do without so go make sure to keep dairy free pizza in your diet!
